On the new version, we're currently making a few of the important things, like the rules, ubb codes, who's online, and private message sections in a more prominent spot up top since many people miss these things.

I know they're seperate systems, but would it be possible to put an indicator on the main page letting a user know if he/she has new mail? Not PMs, but AS email.

Nope, no way of doing that currently unless our provider creates something like that within their own code.

My guess is they wouldn't because they would lose a good portion of their traffic and bannerviews from those who regulerly check in throughout the day to see if anything new is waiting in their inbox. .
