Actually what it was was a swatch site that shows which colors look good together. Like if I chose a certain color and it gives me other colors that would be a good color combo. Am I making any sense?
Yep, you are - I can't find an "exact" link... but this may be something to look at. Again, I'm taking a shot in the dark.
It was ColorSchemer - Online Color Scheme Generator They also sell a very useful standalone application with more features.
I don't know how reliable or helpfull the links are going to be for you, they were pulled from my "Unfinished Documentation" area. 1. ColorToy 2.0 - The Flash Color Scheme Generator 2. http://www.steeldolphin.com/color_scheme.html 3. ColorBlender.com | Your free online color matching toolbox 4. Application Moved Permanently! 5. slayeroffice | tools | color palette creator v1.6.1 6. Color Blender 7. Tools by mort bay communications 8. 9. 10.
I use Colorzilla (add on for Firefox) to find exact colors on other sites or my own to be sure that I have the right color code. It's a good tool!
I've never heard of ColorZilla, I'll go try it now. Thanks Arny. Here's the link for anyone else interested: ColorZilla for Firefox - Eyedropper, Color Picker and much more
Thanks for that recommendation, Arny! I usually do the difficult method: take a screenshot of the page, paste it into an image editor, and use the eyedropper tool to find out the color of a certain area. I guess having that add-on would save me a ton of time.
