What unmotivates me is an administrator who doesn't seem to have an interest in the project (other than reaping the rewards) and expects the moderators and other team members to do all of his dirty work for him (promoting, posting, etc.). And then when you follow suit (waiting for the administrator to do something) and get reprimanded for it... it's usually the last straw.
Oh no, that's not bad, that makes me laugh. I was talking about 15 year olds who think they know all about life. I'm using a personal story in this statement because on a forum I go on there's some 16 year old with zero hospitality who thinks he's the next Rush Limbaugh. It's amusing for people to pick on him, then he cries help when he was the one who instigated all the trouble for himself.
To answer you guys, we've had those kinds of users in the past. However, they aren't given a second chance if they did something that was completely wrong. After all, being where they are isn't a right, it's a privilege. They know perfectly well of what they did wrong and thusly get the axe. Trygon gets these users all the time, but he deals with them all in his flawlessly castigating logic.
I would get demotivated really quickly if it looked like the owner wasn't pulling their weight in some way.
it unmotivates me when: ♥ someone creates a forum and then does nothing and leaves it to the mods ♥ forum owners do things without asking other staff members what they think ♥ popular members think they are above the mods
I hate when an Admin is abusing their powers. It hasn't exactly happened, but there's been some incidents where that was a a rumor running around.
