This is only the forum style, does not include modifications to the CMS or Blog, however it looks fine in the blog. (also posted @ vB.org Modified Default Style - vBulletin.org Forum
Don't take this personally but i think it looks ugly. I almost feel like working on a beta board I have access to and showing what a proper default style should look like but when it comes to styling I hate it. Not your fault, I guess the default images vbulletin introduce throw everything off.
Tech, I'm sorry, but I really don't like it. To many shades of blue, the gray looks out of place, I despise the forum status icons, and the thread icons.... I could go on, but no need.
I'll give credit when it's due and if I see quality in a style that I don't personally like I will say it's down to personal preference but will state why I dislike the style and also say that the visual quality/ consistency and colour usage is good. That isn't the case here, the foundation of the style is a visual eyesore, lacks consistency both in graphic design, colour usage and especially with quality. Granted this is mainly down to the images and colours vbulletin solutions did but the variations of blue and grey thow the whole thing off even further but I still stand by my original way of thinking in that the eyesore is more on vbulletin solutions efforts that the author of this thread. If anyone ever modifies a vb4.0 ensure the first thing you change are the forum status icons and possibly the worst threadmarkers in the visible universe they are a complete eyesore.
Guess you don't want to see my first attempt - can't colour coordinate if my life depended on it though LOL
