http://3rank.com/top-10-highest-google-adsense-earners-in-the-world/ I came across this link on another site. Check out #3... That is seriously impressive @digitalpoint
I'd like to be on that list. How reliable do you think the figures are? Good to see a woman in the no.1 slot.
Wow that is very impressive @digitalpoint even though if its not that accurate, good for you! If I could even make a 100th of that a month I would be a very happy camper.
No way Digg makes that much now. I think they forgot my name on that list... ...oh wait, I am on the top 10 least earned Adsense earners...
That's what I thought when I saw their entry, I haven't been keeping up to date with them, but weren't they desperately trying to flog the company not so long ago?
I always thought that the top earner would be ShoeMoney, who along with Digitalpoint and Perez Hilton have been in the top ten for years, but what surprises me is seen those men from India. You know Indians usually complain about trouble getting their income from the USA into their bank accounts.
Honestly, probably no one on the list is *actually* in the top ten... Anyone who thinks they know, really doesn't... because it's not like Google tells anyone how much individual publishers make. As far as Indians, the only ones I see complaining are the ones who tried to cheat the system somehow and then cry about it. For example they open up an AdSense account as a US publisher thinking they are going to make more money, and then don't know what to do when Google can't pay them until they complete all payment info (like social security number).
There are so many large corporations that use adsense. This is just some blogger finding individuals who do a lot of social networking and including them in his list for back links.
True! In fact many Indians even try to figure out how to open a US bank account attempting to fool Google. I was checking back such list, and those figures suddenly brought to my mind how they can say exactly know how much each of you makes because certainly Google doesn't disclose any publisher's information and it is highly dubious that you reveal personal finance information that may compromise your privacy.
Wow, pretty amazing share, those people must be some really happy people to earn that much a month. I'd also be happy with $50 a month But I'll get there soon enough
I'd be happy if my adsense made any money at all. That said, its not like I invest the appropriate time in it. I only use it on my blog that I write for fun and stress relief. There are also about 10,000 more lucrative things I could do with the amount of time it would take me to build up that blog into a money powerhouse.
That list isn't accurate at all though it gives a idea of what some may make. Hopefully, I will be able to get my sites to be as popular as others. Just have to keep working at it until you see results!
Making any money doing things you love is great. But making such high numbers is amazing, jeez! I would be happy with a few hundreds per month, more than happy actually. But hey, never give up, right?
Digitalpoint gets a lot of noob traffic so I can imagine Shawn earning that much money. However I don't believe that Digg still gets that much traffic or money. Most of the sites listed on the page are well established so they can sell advertising space at a premium and earn more in the process.
People still use Digg? I remember using Digg....years ago and it never generated much traffic for me. Didn't even seem worth the effort of linking my blog posts there for the 10 visitors a year it'd generate.
Indeed... ever since we launched our advertising system where people bid on ad space, most of the ad impressions are taken by that. These days we only use AdSense as a filler when we don't have a direct sold ad to place. Edit: I just checked, and we have 2,085 unique *paying* advertisers (people that have actually funded their ad campaigns) that have bought ad space directly from us.
