the hazey

I just got this pm about the hazey

Due to personnel reasons and other reasons The Hazey is no more, I always
said the day I no longer enjoyed coming on the site the day it would shut,
those who recently paid or donated have been refunded in full.

Thanks to the great staff members who helped the site be so good this past
year and to all the members who helped make The Hazey a great forum, good
luck with all your future endevors

Wow, sad to hear. Forum was nice, but to be honest promotion forums dont really last.. fp is different though. I wonder what the reason behind its closing was.

 

That is the only reason he has said so no one really knows the full reason.

 

Seeing sites as successful as the hazey going down scares me.

 

i guess all we can do is sit back and wait and see what happens if anything.

 

That sucks! I just joined a few days ago.

 

Yea its sad when forums just dissapear like that.

 

There is just to many story's going around i really do not know whats true. FP closed my topic after 17 mins of it been up. we are just going to have to wait and see.

i know sorry for going off topic.

There is members on other forums saying different story's i really don't know which one is true some are saying its been hacked and others are saying Rich closed it down himself

 

It getting hacked would be a good reason to shut it down without notice.

 

We could keep on guessing all night and might never find out the truth. Its just a shame as i liked the forum plus i had a big package sitting to get down. :-(

 

Im very sure he got hacked or else he wouldnt delete the forum from his server, if you goto www.thehazey.co.uk the forum files is gone. If it wasnt hacked it would just have the forum closed with the notice showing why it closed. Just a theory.

 

That is a new page to what i got a few hours ago before it came up as page not found. This is really wired

 

Its basically empty... theres no files in it. ftpquota comes by default in the public_html

 

I know what it means i have seen it loads before when i first started up forums, lol

it means two things

1 rich has deleted all the files of the server
2 its been hacked and they have managed to get into the server and delete all his files.
