Things will be reconsidered as time goes on. This includes restrictions changing (in terms of post count requirement, etc.) as well as a forum exclusive for Premium Members. At this time, that is obviously not a viable move because we only have about three or four Premium Members.
I think this is more than enough as a private forum for 'exclusive' members. No need to have two private forums, imo.
Exactly my thoughts. The only option I see as a possibility is making it harder for non-Premium members to get in; that way it's naturally filled with mostly Premium Members.
I agree. Back in the olden days (last week) prior to this forum and the private office forum there was a huge need for something. Having a certain number of posts/rep/whatever works for me. If there was a paid members only forum then anyone could still join up at any time so that would not be any more private. Tomzilla, you done with the AA corporate jet? Can I borrow it?
Seeing as this forum is only available for use to a specific demographic here (i.e. premium members, those with a specific post count and reputation, etc), I'm quite sure that Abomination was referring to a "private jet" due to the exclusivity of this area of the community.
And you don't need to stick to this thread - feel free to make as many as you want. It's "lax" (hate that word so much) back here.
Forgot about this thread! I was a moderator on a larger forum where real money was involved, at least for the owners. The amount of money was enough for several people to live on. The moderators would constantly tease the owners 'where was the company jet'. Then the premium members that paid for a subscription to the forum did the same thing. You and I are premium members, hence my statement regarding the jet. Apparently most forums do not tease owners about the company jet. I'll try to remember that this is AA and not that forum, or even my own forum. Sorry for the confusion.
