I'll check in a minute, I was just polishing that interview off done with Shawn Hogan on my own forum them. So it's been locked, what a shame!
It's nothing to do with being "forbidden" or not. It is a matter of honour. Dirt-dishing never looks good. Unless some sort of actual scam is taking place, it is a matter of honour to say nothing. Which is what Brogan is doing. There is no scam here, no illegal activity, Kier and Mike are not ripping anybody off, they are at the very worst providing rather poor customer service. They are still supplying the purchased product and, as far as we can tell, are still providing paying customers with ticket support. The poor customer service is something for customers to make their feelings known about (as I do), but it is NOT a matter for breaking confidentialities and acting dishonourably.
I've not even been there reading what was said last yet, but I can bet I know who ended up getting it locked. Let's see if I'm right?
Hmm, don't really see why it's been locked now. Read worse said in it pages further back, if me I'd re-open it again.
I don't think there will be any updates this month ! Showing off 1.2 screenshots and no updates doesn't make sense at all .
That is vintage Kier. One line response that gets the fan boys pissing all over themselves. Only purpose it serves is to stroke that massive ego. If you want any real information good luck waiting for it. It will probably snow in hell before he posts anything of substance. Brogan I appreciate a person with your principles. I am sure there are many that would tell all at first chance.
Ya know I have just made a post for the first time in ages on there, actually to respond to someone who quoted me. However have been looking at the forum on a daily basis, and when I say looking I mean literally just flicking on and flicking back off again. Now for people that only look in this manor to see if there are any updates (even post updates) it looks dead. That in itself is a shame. I have no doubt they are working on 1.2, however its not going to change the fact that there customer service is extremely bad at the moment. See the way I see it, Im currently getting ready to go to work and thought I would do a quick post here and there on different forums before I set off. How long does that take, really? I just think its a real shame as they are destroying their own company, and regardless of the loyal few wwho seem to be completely blind to the fact that people have, and will still move away from xenforo the software will die of its own accord if they dont change the way they are doing things. Thats with IBs help or without.
XenForo 1.2 Delayed XenForo Security Fix for 1.0.0 - 1.1.2 XenForo 1.1.3 Released (Includes Security Fix) LoL
Yeah! Just spotted XenForo 1.1.3 has been released now, but I've not seen an announcement yet about any detailed changes made in it. I've just downloaded it (the 1.1.3 release). Pity "Mark.B" can't do the same anymore....
XenForo 1.1.3 is the third maintenance release in the 1.1 series. It contains numerous bug fixes and stability improvements. It includes the SWFUpload security fix as well. We recommend all customers upgrade to 1.1.3 to benefit from the increased stability and security. 1.1.3 also introduces a new "Cookie Usage" page and option to display a notice about cookies on their first visit (only when they have no cookies). This is in response to recent EU regulation changes. The cookie notice option is disabled by default. It can be enabled via Options > Basic Board Information > Show Cookie Notice on First Visit. Some of the bug fixes in 1.1.3 include: Flood check multiplier did not work on discouraged users AddThis publisher ID not sent through correctly Plain BB codes didn't always work correctly when nested PHP 5.4 incompatibilities Missing forum info when merging posts Dots are not removed from integer params in URLs in all situations where necessary In-page navigation with quote attribution links does not change browser history correctly See the Resolved Bug Reports forum for the full list. All licensed customers may now download XenForo 1.1.3 from the customer area. Download XenForo 1.1.3From the Licensed Customer AreaMore Stable This release of XenForo 1.1.3 follows our principle that third-point (x.x.X) releases should always be more stable than the preceding version, so for the most part you will not find new features in 1.1.3. Major new features will be reserved for second point versions (x.X.x). Installation and Upgrade Instructions Full details for how to install and upgrade XenForo can be found in the XenForo Manual.
XenForo 1.2 is delayed, along with the Resource Manager. Just been reading it now. The interesting part for me, they have not given any future time-scale this time around when it might be released now? Have a feeling we might see a few tantrums thrown later from the fan-boys, Ops, they got it wrong!
