Awesome idea! I've overwritten my favicon.ico many times. Thankfully I have a copy on my home computer, but it's a good idea to have a backup right there, too.
Glad to share the idea. I only figured it out after accidentally overwriting my favicons 584,254,785 times in my life.
Even tho its not 'exactly' what i wanted, this is still by far, one of the best hacks ever!! It is so nice to be able to see who was browsin around your forum... If there was a way to show the online spiders when their online, this would be the ultimate!! thanks for a great hack paul, i meant to install this months ago, but forgot about it...thank gawd for AA and vborg!!
