Yeah that sucker got carried away....damn spammers! To lazy to start their own community would rather foul up some one else's with that crap. Good job Joker.........

 

They always like to attack when your asleep I'll be clearing up the rest as quickly as possible

 

UPDATE: Thankfully it seems that Kaiser managed to clear most of it up for us last night and I've now done a quick sweep on the board as best I can and dealt with all reports sent.

If you find anymore floating about, please press the report button and a member of staff will deal with it just as soon as they possibly can.

Got some in my inbox, seeming my family is around me can a staff member remove this for me?

 

Its your job to remove them, or report them and we can remove them.

Yea it was though removing the spam through my ipod. Unfortunately we cant do any thing about the pms, as joker said you may reoort it, or simply ignore.

 

I opened my, unbeknown to me, spam in front of my girl friend.... Luckily she understands spam. The one I got was really gross

 

The one with the split penis and the story about a 10year grinding on a 18 year old? lmao

Agreed, couldn't help but laugh at the story how some person would be sad enough to write it to spam forums...

 

I'll never understand why people have to stoop so low to search and post such things but all we can do is report it, deal with it, and ban the user(s) and hope they don't come back because it's hard to stop human spammers

 

tbh, I think it was a human not a bot, due to the fact that I saw a thread named "AdminBB got spammed" :S

 

not to mention the PM(s) sent to members, as far as I know, the spam bot program cannot do that, as it can only make new posts/topics...

 

All we can do is Block its IP, and hope for the best

 

Yup, which is what I double checked after I dealt with all the reports, etc.

 

LOL, I had to deal with 15 reports, 50% of them was resolved but I had to see the thing all over again =/

 

not much I can do when asleep, but as soon as I got on, I checked, replied & closed all open reports

Anyway, seeing as this is resolved for now, I'm going to lock the topic, if anything else pops up, please ensure it's reported and one of us with deal with it as soon as we can

 

Im pretty sure its a person and i have a great idea of who could be behind it.

 

Tracing the IP address could be useful?
