Smoked chicken and ribs

A couple of weeks ago a buddy of mine got married. I had the honor of cooking for everyone. It was a small wedding with just a few friends and family.

That is a nice looking setup you have.

I built a big pit because my wife has 4 kids from her previous marriage and I have 4 kids. Just from her kids we have 12 grand kids. When we all get together there are a lot of mouths to feed. So I wanted something I could cook enough for everyone on.

 

wow...that is a lot of kids and grand kids

 

I thought I married a woman with kids, not a woman with a bunch of rabbits.

The oldest daughter - 4 kids, the oldest son - 3 kids, the next oldest son - 3 kids, the youngest daughter - 2 kids

For christmas, we are going to give out gift cards to get some tubes tied or some nuts cut.
