I just added a heap of smilies, and also sorted them into categories, to my forum. While I can see all the smilies on the admin cp, on the actual forum the new smilies dont appear nor are they sorted into categories. Do I have to wait x amount of time for something to update them? While i'm on the topic of smilies, is there a way I can choose which smilies appear to the left of the new thread/reply box? IYKWIM.
Have you checked in vboptions >> Message Post Interface options and check your settings. If they're showing in the smiley manager as being uploaded they should be showing via the forum.
You can choose which smileys are showing on the post reply page by setting the sort order in the ACP. ACP > Smilies > Smiliey Manager. The group that's set to 1 is displayed on the post reply page.
