Do you have any suggestions for the site? I know a few had been posted before we opened up, but they are lost in other general threads. We have 3 blocks on the side column, what would look best in those boxes? We have blogs, social groups, albums or anything else we could place in there.
To be honest, I didn't know we had blogs on here until you said. We can have latest blogs in one block, latest social groups in another block, random album pictures in another block, maybe a user controlled block such as a youtube video which they specify in thier profile. The possibilities are endless, and all possible with my skills.
I forgot I had the vblogs with this license and saw it when I picked up impex for the latest import..lol I'm good with latest blog, latest group and random album in another if you have the time to set those up IDK about the youtube block, i like the idea but I'll have to think about that one.
These are some good ones so far. Last 'media' or what ever is always nice. If it is an upload or an AME post or something. Could be a thought.
As I've been roaming and posting today on the site, I realized a couple of things that might be good to add to the forum. Add the 'share' buttons using the vBSEO icons for Facebook and Twitter. Use the mod for auto-tags: Automatic Thread Tagger for vB3.8 - vBulletin.org Forum And then use one of the sidebar boxes for a tag cloud using this mod: Global Tag Cloud in Side Bar or Anywhere - vBulletin.org Forum The only issue with the auto-tag is that the tags aren't generated when there is a prefix selected, but that may not be a problem here on the General-Forums Oh, and not sure if you wanted to grant permission for folks to start threads here in the "Site Suggestions" forum. Right now, I can only reply to this one and not start a new suggestion. Up to you, but after awhile this thread may be too long to keep track of
I've added the option so you can start new threads in here will look over your suggestions soon I've been thinking about adding the rss blog link in your post like we had on vbsetup.
The RSS blog link would be cool for us webmasters, that's for sure And thanks for adding the option to start new threads. Should help get some suggestions kickin'
I think a lot of people that would use a forum, might have a personal blog of their own, not just "webmasters". IDK though, we'll add it and see.
