Semi-auto rifles http://semiautorifles.com/ Hello people! My name is Ray and I started a new discussion board for firearm enthusiast December of 2008. The site is designed for people who enjoy shooting and discussing Semi-automatic rifles. One of my goals with this site is to help educate people with the term semi-automatic and some of the misconceptions concerning this type of firearm. The number one thing is a semi-automatic firearms only fires once per single pull of the trigger. The media and various political groups has confused this type of firearm with a full automatic. A full automatic firearm will continue to fire while the trigger is depressed. Now one thing on the subject of full automatic firearms, they are in fact legal to own depending on your state laws. But rest assure your garden variety ganster can not simply walk into a gun store or gun show and buy a Class III firearm...Full Auto, Suppressors, Short barrel Rifles etc. This type of weapon requires the strictest back ground checks by your local PD and BATF. You're local Sheriff or COP is required to sign the paper work, if they don't sign it, you can't buy one. I hope you have at least learned something from my berief introduction. Thanks, As for the banner, it was a quick spur of the moment design by my IT guy. My original banner was some how encoded in the old forum software and I lost the picture files for it. I think he did a great job all things considering. I'm thinking about doing a banner contest here pretty soon to help with promote membership and activity on the forum.

That is a nice looking community. The colors match the topic well, the header image is not overbearing, the pages load fast,,,, you just need more post. But it looks like your off to a running start.
I'm actually using a gamer skin...I'm sure the X status icons give I away. I need to get someone to build me some custom gun related ones. That or build a whole new skin. As for COD4, my tuner for my surround sound is toast and it's to much trouble to direct hook up the PSP3. So I can't play
Chris and I used to own CoD4-MW.net when the game first released. We had a similar skin to the one you have now - it was very nice. I think it would have looked good for your forum.
I like the overall feel of the site. Easy to navigate though, good color / theme choice also! The activity could be a little improved. But it is WAY better than my forum's Good overall idea. All the best, Andrei Z!
