Second of two sites

This is my brand new site, there is *nothing* going on here at the moment. I have an arcade on my main site which often attracts people who don't like posting in forums and just want to play games. At the moment they can't, they have to join in, and this leads to dissatisfaction, so we thought it'd be nice to have another site where posting doesn't matter but there are less games, we will refer people to it. Also hoping in the long term to attract people through Google.

To be honest as a project it was more about learning MyBB and seeing if I could put it to any use. A bit silly really and I don't ever want it to be really busy but some activity would be nice.

Again no formal review needed, just a quick impression. It's my first try of MyBB too so things may not be perfect.

Well, I personally think the header image with the desaturated game icons looks washed out. I would get rid of those icons, it would probably make the page look cleaner.

Yes, sorry folks...bit of an issue cropped up last night and I don't really want to be linking to my site from here, it's not appropriate. I only link to showcase the sites rather than gain new members, and as I discovered last night, the latter can create problems.

It's nothing bad for this site, it's just something I always knew really. I should have known better. Just creates potential bad feeling.

This thread (and my other review one) can be closed/deleted as you see fit.

Yes I do respect that if he doesn't want to tell then fine but I was just asking and then he can decide if he wants other to know why or not.

 

Just for the record, I'm NOT leaving. I have absolutely no issue with this site or the way it's managed, in fact I rather enjoy it. As I said when I joined up, I like it here.

I've just decided that there's no reason to be have to links to my site anywhere, I don't need to promote it and it can be counter-productive to do so.
