RIP IPBfree

One of the largest forum free hosting of IPB software has gone down earlier today. It's hard to say what the hell happened but the staff that manage it say they can't tell what happened. They ask not to blame them or the other staff members but due to legal issues they can't say what happened.

It's really sad to think of all the forums that got deleted today and even worse to think of the wasted time admins had placed into their IPBfree forums only to end up deleted.

I hope everyone who had a IPBfree forum quickly gets back on their feet. If you need another forum hosting like IPBfree then I highly recommend Jcink.

So anybody here know of anyone who used IPBfree?

 

Yeah it's a shame it had to end that way. I had a great time with iPBFree. If anyone needs a new start though they can try Jcink, they will get $15 worth of ad removal.

it's nice of jcink to do this but everyone is doing this in order to get the members.

hard to say, the staff's not talking due to legal issues which is BS but what can a person do.

 

I know quite a few people I've had exchanges with that used IPBFree.. it is a shame that they have lost all of their hard work like this.

I've heard that some are reluctant to go to JFB because they fear that the same thing will happen.

 

I just thought I would put this here. If you are a former ipbfree user and want to remake your forum. I personally am willing to set you up a forum. It will either be smf or mybb though which is your choice.
