I just don't have time to make these. Does anyone have, or know where I can find, a set of ratings images (stars or other)? You know, the ones that appear when you rate a thread. I need them for Rush Hour Madness - link in my sig.
Here are some clean-cut ones: AF - Rating Stars - vBulletin.org Forum (The author tries to get you to go to his site to see them in action, but I've saved you the hassle and uploaded a preview right here ) View attachment 169 Here are two others: CA - Rating Icons 1.0 - vBulletin.org Forum Rating Star - Icons - vBulletin.org Forum ...Or are you wanting a custom set?
I'm a little busy myself atm but I did start on a gdk pack that I started doing stars. I'm not sure whether they will suit your forum but once I get 10 minutes I can post a set. You can see a preview of them (below) they are amongst other images. If you find they will suit your style and you want to use them let me know and I'll send you the .png sometime tonight.
No not necessarily a custom set, just something that shows up better than the vB default ones. I had seen those before Nick and tried them. While they stand out very well against the dark tcat strip, they don't stand out well on the white background. I'm afraid I'd have the same issue with yours Shelley. The yellow doesn't stand out well against the white background, tho it's lovely against the dk blue tcat. Love the ranks, Shelley, very nice set. Thank you both!
You would be wanting to look into having a set with a 1-2px stroke of a dark color show it shows up on the white.
Not that I know of. If any of the ones on vB.org come with a PSD, you could apply a stroke on that and just export.
If you want I would be happy to try to make one for you. What size are you thinking of? And what color of stars?
That would be wonderful thank you. Roughly the same size as the vB default set, but in either green or orange. You'll can see the colors on my site at Rush Hour Madness
hmmmmmmm... no I think not on the animated. Just one color like they are default. either the orange or the green..
I installed them, and unfortunately, while they look great on the white, they look horrid on the dark blue, probably because of the white matting around them.
Couldn't you just save them as .png? that way you won't have to worry about the matting issues involved? edit: Peggy beat me to it. Png and your all set.
