My domains are currently registered with GoDaddy, and I want to upgrade them to private WHOIS information. As things are now, it would be $8.99 per domain just to add WHOIS protection, which I personally think is a bit steep. So I'm wondering if anybody knows of any alternatives -- such as a coupon code for this, or perhaps you know of a registrar that I could transfer my domains to and get free WHOIS privatization. Please let me know if you are aware of any options that may allow me to add the protection for less than $8.99. Thanks!
Well NameCheap has free whois for one year when you register an new domain, not sure with transfer but the whoisguard only cost like $2.88 per year.
Okay, I think it's worth it to transfer to Namecheap and use the WhoisGuard. I didn't know WhoisGuard was so cheap. Thanks, John!
Yeah the only way I know how to do it with godaddy is when you buy more then 5 domains you can get free private whois with each. You could try using a % off coupon? Go Daddy Hosting Coupons 2009 - Promo-Code.net It will at least save you some money?
