Yeah, with Internet Brands you need to be very careful about what you agree to and not just click that agree button when downloading. Read the small print and make sure that you do not sign over ownership of your liver, your house or anything else of value. But all sarcasm aside: its a cheap trick to void all rights to support. Especially since they already switched from yearly renewal fees and had you buy a full vb4 license again. This was sold to you as a lifetime license. Now, they are basically retracting your lifetime license and nulling your rights to support for your vb4 installation.
Know what you mean by Dead Lands. Visited vB.com other day and noticed day after on a re-visit, most forums still had the same post listed as last post made on a few forums. Seems pretty dead their.... bet that's why the vB trio have been posting on admin forums, not enough doing on vB.com, they're bored.
Not only is it a cheap trick, it is another way of trying to get more money from the customers. If this guy can't get his answer he will have to fork out for paid support .. It really is very poor PR over their.
Ever showered at a public bath house? There's a reason everyone is smiling and overly friendly. They are all waiting for the new guy to drop the soap.
