I'm curious about the following regarding you and your members' post counts:

• What is your post count on your forum? (If you have more than one, share the highest one)
• What is the higest post count on your forum and who is it (member/moderator/admin/yourself)?
• What is the highest regular member post count on your forum?
• What is the highest post count you have ever made on any forum?
• What is the highest post count you have ever seen?

No reason in particular, I just thought it would be neat to know how active some people can get.

  • 137,232 at vBcom, too. I think I have seen higher a few times but it is hard to tell if it is legitimate or just edited.

...my numbers don't really count anymore as that forum is long over.

• Wow, the ProBoards support forum has far beyond the amount of posts the vBulletin support forum has. I wonder what's up with that.

 

It must be harder to use and require more support inquiries? :p

 

Or, these post counts could be fixed - which I highly doubt, but it's a possibility.

Steve Machol's at vBulletin.com, which is currently 142,720. I expect him to hit 145,000 by the end of the year.

 

I've always thought this. i've always wondered if anyone ever messed with their post counts...on a new forum it would be a dead giveaway....but on a little older forum.......??...... ;-)

See my answer to the first question. My highest post count used to be 1,755 at the phpBB support forum, since I asked a lot of questions when I was using phpBB2 (which would be for most of the time I've been running my forum since June 2004).

Probably not the highest I've seen, but certainly the highest I remember seeing: 67,183 (by Darth Wong of StarDestroyer net since I am a regular visitor of that forum, and keep up with his posting).

Whatever Steve Machol's post count is on vBulletin.com, although back in the Nintendo Nsider forums days, the highest rank members had over 40 000 posts, and were there for like, 3 years as a requirement. One of them may have had a higher post count, I can't remember.
