Last year I resolved to give up smoking and succeeded. This year I've resolved to lose all the weight I put on after giving up smoking
Thanks. After 40 years it wasn't the easiest of tasks I used Champix (varenicline) which blocks the nicotine receptors in your brain so smoking has no effect. It also relieves the craving and withdrawal symptoms. It turned the impossible into something I could handle so worth a go if you really want to kick the habit.
Good advice. I never started smoking. A close relative died from emphysema so that was enough encouragement for me to never start.
I heard that people gain a lot of weight after smoking because you grave more food. I'm still smoking after like 4 years. I smoke Newports and haven't had the will power to quit yet. My new year resolution is to get my community to 275k posts and lose 80 pounds.
This year, I'd like to experience things that I've never done before, such as maybe parasailing, ziplining, and riding in a helicopter.
I've lost 16-17 pounds so far this year, so I'm doing quite good with my new year resolution. Also, my community recently hit 205k posts.
Well, so far this year I've done ziplining, which was one of my resolutions for 2014. I had never done ziplining before, which is part of why I wanted to try it this year. I'm glad I did, as it was fun for me!
