That's usually a browser issue. They have a transparent background that is showing up as gray for Paul. Edit: Yeah, just like the screenshot.
Unless he's referring to the shadow located underneath the emoticons. Normally, the png BG issues are usually with IE. I had trouble with some png dodgy background showing the other day on an image for some strange reason and the mage was fully transparent.
I don't know if it's just the screenshot, but all of those images actually look like they are of horrible pixilated quality, Paul.
Right - transparent .png backgrounds tend to be a problem with IE. To fix it they would need to be .gif (or we can just wait for the new ones).
Ah .... Didnt realise this wasnt how they should look As soon as I saw the replies I realised this is due to them being png images (and me being on IE6).
Paul was referring to the previous set of emoticons used (i.e. a gray box appeared around them) - the current set is indeed blueish-gray, however.
