However, it's not something I would rely on having that soon. The skin we have now is still fairly suitable. But yes, we are indeed working on a new one (perhaps vB 4 built).
I would wait for vb4 - IMO it would be a waste of time working on one now if in a couple months you will be back to recoding for vb4 style - but always good to have feedback regarding websites it helps the admins know what their forum members want.
That's true, but regardless of the style aspect, we wouldn't be upgrading to vB 4 for a long time anyways.
First of all please don't miss lead people, those that do not keep in the loop may see your post as saying they could go and download it to beta test and that isn't the case. And Nick I completly understand about the theme just didn't see the point in spending weeks on a new design only to have to edit it to vb4 anyways as it was mentioned that the new design could be for vb4.
Seeing as we are currently in the process of having a skin customized and coded for vB 3.x.x, upgrading to vB 4.x immediately would not be viable - the amount of sheer effort that would have to be exerted during the conversion process would be incredible.
I think it's a great idea that you guys will wait till a more stable version of vB4 comes out and shizz. Though I am ver intrigued with what would MyBB 1.6 and 2.0 look like....
I think that is what merk was saying - why do it now when it can just be done for vB 4. But Nick already explained why, I guess.
If your doing a new one, please have a wide one (or fluid). This one currently wastes about 25% of my screen (no sidebar, just blank).
