Will you tell me if you can access my localhost WordPress Blog clicking this link: MRGTB I know the banner image might not be displayed to you in the header, and the smilies listed above the comments box. That can be fixed easy later. I just want to now if you can browse the site. Maybe even post a comment to test it so I know it works fine.
I had no problem getting there and can easily navigate as well. Was able to see the all the nice photo's in this heading: Daughters Bullmastiff Dog Has Puppy’s Looks good!
yep all the post images are gone along with the one right below the header, its because you've got the domain set to cPanel You'll have to recode a few small things to get everything to show correctly I'd imagine.
Yeah, I just right clicked the images to get the path used. There are all using localhost instead of IP Address. The banner below the logo I'm aware off that being set to localhost and the smiley images above the comment box. Maybe posts needs updating with a save to alter image paths.
I just re-saved the articles listed on the frontpage, can you see the images now. As it looks to me like it's changed the image paths to work now (I think).
Okay, if I click where the image should be it takes me to the full size image and it appears, the only thing not working are thumbnails now. Edit: the thumbnails still point to localhost
Yeah I see the problem, this is happening because the database was imported from my live site in my signature (same blog). But hosted locally as a test. If I was to create a new article now adding new image to it, they would be displayed fine. But none of the articles listed were added after the localhost install if you get my drift. So it's not really an issue as such if I added new articles now with images. Plus I'm using my IP and not pointing my IP to a domain name, that would solve another issue if IP changes by using a DNS Tool to point the IP to a domain name.
Look at this first article listed on the frontpage now (Kubrick Wide W3C Validation Improved). I just deleted and added the image again, then saved it. That article should now work fine for you with images. Just that one though.
