Looks like a job for @Brandon
    Indeed. :D

@WEfail, you don't need testing! It works, and SEO for it will give you more!

I agree with you on this one Carlos. I want to get it up and running, test it out and go from there.
    I am done with vBulletin.

As for my larger vb3 sites, I will just have to find a decent dev to work on XF. :) xenforo-byebyevb.jpg

Yup, I actually told a client for the first time ever to think about upgrading from vB3.8.7 to another software......sadly.....

    Hey Scott
I think vBulletin has ran its course for me. Of course with bigboards you need to exercise all sorts of caution on a move so that is why I am starting with some smaller sites. I hope to be 3/4 main sites on Xenforo. My big site may take more time for dev. :/

Jelsoft / vB is a dead end as far as I am concerned. Community is full of rotten apples and that staff aren't much better. IB has little to no interest in listening to communities... i know because i get the gripes from all the admins from the auto network I sold them.

And I totally get what you are saying. I have never once thought about leaving vBulletin until this last week.

If you need any custom xf work, customized importers to import vB addon data to xf addons, etc... => http://admin-talk.com/conversations/add?to=ragtek ;)

So does that mean you'll be back on the xf forums again soon?
I know everyone really appreciated your mods, including myself. ;)

    It's much better for me.

All the small, free addons were great for the community, good for my reputation (because they brought maaaaaany big clients) but all in all it was bad for me because it ended in an veeeeeery bad burnout where i was never really able to recover...
And with all the wwww (wordlwideweb wide) xenforo show and their 0 info policy, i had to leave the xf community to be able to concentrate on my health and my remaining clients;)

And the lesson was => i prefer to be the coder in the background, i'm not the type of support guy (specially because i need google translate for my english posts..:D so no new addon releases, no help, but also no more drama ;)

Well you have to do what you have to do.
I know someone looking for a custom username color port from vb or ipb, I'll send you the link when I'm at the PC to see what that would run.

Must concur XF is smoother than VB currently but I still don't find a single reason to make upgrade.
I just realize I and my conmmunity prefer something famillar to bring tons of new features. It may worse
VB3 is just too good. What have you done IB *sob.

I 100% agree. It is so hard to go from lone coder to support guy. I have done it many times, and tried many time too. It always ends the same in a horrid burnout. I myself have no problem releasing things and sharing info/code/time/effort, but when constantly being killed with questions and needing help because people do not listen. It really is not worth it.

+1 for coding in the background

Going to need some custom coding, that is 100% going to happen.

Just bought another license preparing for migration two, another small vB4 forum.

I am hoping IBs touch on XF isnt going to result in that dying. Everything they put their hands on dies :/

My port from vB4 style (live site) onto the XF dev site. I am very pleased so far.

I had a good laugh when I seen that image. I was expecting to read some article explaining why vbulletin is still a good forum software, but I'm glad I didn't.

I left Vbulletin too, but I switched too IPB instead of Xenforo.

How are you finding IPB so far?
I was hesitant to leave to be honest despite the short comings that have been there for a long.

IPB is amazing. The licensing sucks, but the software is great. It sucks that most addons for IPB are paid, but I really like the forum software so that's why I'm using it for my forum.
