This heartwarming display of interspecies friendship between a house cat and a crab-eating macaque comes to us via photographer Hendy Mp, who took these pictures at his friend's house in Indonesia.

"The two are very close and always play together," Mp said, according to the Daily Mail. "When I was there, the cat made the first move, walking towards the monkey. In typical monkey behavior, they just started playing together."

 

Animals can be so cute, can't they?
