is there anyway to bypass the mobile version when on a phone? I'd rather see all the images on my palm treo and my bb... I didnt know if there was a link or anything that i could use to bypass the mobile skin..
I like mobile version on my phone, but right now im curious to view aa as i would on my lappy. Usually there is a way to disable it but i cant seem to locate it on aa.
Try changing the forum skin by going to the following option: User Control Panel > Edit Options > Forum Skin
Unfortunately if I enable automatic device detection, you are stuck with the mobile style. So I have decided to disable the automatic detection. You should be able to manually choose the mobile style. Please let me know if such an option is not available.
Has the forum been added to the Tapatalk network by chance? I was thinking of getting that app for this very reason while browsing sites i won't have to use the ugly mobile style
ill give it a try in a little bit... one ofthe main reasons i dont browser this site is cuz the mobile version is hard fo me to read.. (yea yea im old...) plus the blackberry and palm treo i use loads fast anyways...
What are you waiting for! Its free to add your site though I think they'd have a much better success for their product if they offered an affiliate system so forum admins actually had a reason to promote their sites.
I agree completely, and hey, that way I could browse AA on my iphone Not sure if that would interfere with how the current mobile theme is loaded, but for vBulletin type boards, tapatalk is great! As for the affiliates program, yeah, they DEFINITELY need that going.
It shouldn't interfere, but if it does, I wouldn't suggest it since there are only a few million out of the trillion of people in this world.
It does? I don't even see how. The tapatalk "skin" isn't a skin at all, it's not even tied into the forum (via skins, products, etc). The application is what calls it, so it doesn't even interact with the skins in that manner. Odd
I never said it did, I said shouldn't as if, if it's installed it shouldn't/won't interfere with the actual mobile browsing skin.
I think its cause your "if" turned into "he" and caused some confusion in your first post I had to read it twice myself to understand it so I think it was just a miscommunication. :hello:
