Just gone to post a new thread to promote RDF and got this message: Sorry, you need 6 posts before you can create a thread in this area. You currently have 9 posts. it needs better wording as it comes across as you only need 6 posts not you need a full 15 posts to access the area
Its saying you need 6 more posts to post there, and that you currently have 9. So you need 15 posts total before being able to create a thread there.
Perhaps it should be worded something like: You need 15 posts before you can create a thread here. You currently have x posts and need y more.
Yes I know that my issue is it should be better worded, as it reads like you only need 6 and to people whose first language is not English it will confuse them it should read Sorry you need a total of 15 posts before you can create a thread in this area. You currently have 9 posts. or Sorry you need a further 6 post before you can creat a thread in this area, You currently have 9 posts.
Haha its because I deal with a lot of people who's 1st language is not English that I look at things from a different angle
I was confused by it too and my first language is English and I consider myself to have a good grasp of English... Nice find Richazey.
