Hey, My forum has like 3,000 registered users, which are undoubtedly spam sign ups; however, vBulletin or my host won't actively allow me to delete these users in large batches. They are all in the registered users usergroup, so I can't delete the usergroup. Are there any other alternatives to wiping the entire database (But user 1, and the 2-3 or users who've posted)? I mean, I've tried deleting in batches of 250, but it's simply not worth the effort, as I have top keep clicking and even then it might not delete any users and will come with error messages. - Thus I've wasted a lot of time doing nothing. Suggestions?
I was using that function before, but an error came up saying I couldn't delete that many users due to 'server error'. My host said it was due to this: https://billing.stablehost.com/knowledgebase/161/How-do-I-switch-to-another-PHP-version.html I seem to be able to prune now! Thanks a bunch!
Maybe you could do it in smaller batches? You probably don't want to have to go through your host to manage your forum database.
