I've used mailchimp before, it's a solid newsletter app and I'm considering using it here along with this plugin.
I got this plugin working correct on 1.1.0 beta 5, as well as the "join our mailing list" badge on the home page.
Good to hear. We have started using SendGrid and it has been less than pleasant. One of the goals moving to it was to set up a consistent newsletter system. I am guessing writing these kind of plugins is much easier with xenForo's plugin system.
I have to say I'm impressed with the signup form on the side bar, I've had a few people subscribe to the newsletter that aren't forum members. I'm looking forward to checking the stats once we send out first newsletter out.
