lying on the internet

it is very easy to lie on the internet, and im sure we all have had members that have lied about themselfes-what are your stories?

1. there was these 2 girls who joined as newbies, and a troll took a dislike to them, bullying them and saying nasty things about them. one got close to one of the forums male members, who had a girlfriend, even going as far as to find out his phone number and phone him, trying to get with him. the other made up a load of lies about herself, she moved from the uk to america and back in a week. she was outed as a liar and both girls ip's matched the trolls

2. there was someone who joined as a young woman, who also had a girlfriend who joined. they both had the same posting style (and same ip but we presumed they lived together) she seemed to change her life a lot, slipping up on things that happened to her and where about she lived, and the pics of her in members photos were of two different people!-eventually it turned out she wasnt 21, and she wasnt a lesbian. she was 45 years old and had a husband

3. the forum drama queen....she had one of her livers removed she seems to have a different illness every week, and she once said that shes called a doctor cause shes crying and very depressed cause someone on the forum called her a liar and yet she was happily posting on another forum and not at all ill-even when she had a friend come on and say she was in hospital, in the exact same posting style as her, when she was posting on another forum.

 

My girlfriends old girls forum used to have a competitor and what they would do on their forums is create accounts posing as famous people like those out High School Musical etc rather idiotic but I suppose the lies served them well and shook up plenty of fun and drama for their members.
