I have purchased a book to help me learn or more of make me learn about PHP, so that I can hopefully start to develop my own web application scripts and also start to edit and take up abandoned scripts by other people and take them up as my own to make them something to remember, I purchased my book off Amazon and hopefully it should be delivered in the next coming days
PHP is very simple if you have experience with other programming languages. The tough part is integrating MySQL with PHP. That is always hard to learn how to do. The book will help you alot, but there is a great free online resource called W3Schools. www.w3schools.com They have free articles on many topics, including a good portion on PHP and MySQL, and also have articles in multiple languages, for people who have trouble with English (Like you, maybe)
