Over the past like month or so I have noticed an increase of spam registrations coming from the same email @Laposte.net Has anyone ever had spammers register with that email?
It seems to be from a scammer using a French cell phone company. It could be a good idea to ban his IP. If you can give me his/her IP I will do some further checking. I've never noticed them.. we automatically delete most spam though so I never see a thing unless I check the logs.
I was going to say Brandon that might be because you use XF and I use IPB, but i see CM30 uses IPB as well, so ehh....*shrug* It is quite annoying but thankfully, my staff is usually on top of it
@Micah how do I ban laposte.net from registrations exactly? They are quite active signing up at my site and I believe they got my email address and are using it. I changed the password last night but would like to ban the entire laposte.net from registering on my site. Any suggestions?
