In reference to this film... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knowing_(film) I have just watched this film, I would say a sad ending. The kid(s) having to leave there parents to start life on a new planet. Then the sun causes a solar flare vaporizing the Earth and killing all living organisms. The ending shows the kid(s) being dropped off and running through the fields, to start a new life? I think it is a sad ending because the family is so close throughout the film, then to have an ending like that. A powerful film this is and it has truly changed my perspective of life.
I haven't seen it. I saw the box art on the Wiki page and that was enough to convince me to check it out the next time I want to watch a movie online.
Just watched this movie and it was pretty good. I really like the ending not like all other movies were the hero stops it from happening and gets the girl and live happily ever after.
