Its a UBB Hack or Add-On. karma is when a moderator or an administrator awards you points for certain posts. Moderators and Administrators are not allowed to recieve karma.
That is correct. If a user is especially helpful, or posts something that's valuable or beneficial to someone etc., you can give them a positive karma point. In addition, if someone spams, or does something clearly against the rules, they can recieve a negative karma point. . There is something like that available.. everytime they go a point down they are warned. I've heard about that but Alien or Ukliam should know for sure.
I have it set up in a liberal way... You won't recieve automatic e-mail either way.. If I choose to warn you personally, you'll get one. . There is also no auto-ban turned on at this time. Same here. I tried to give eminem a positive point, but I wasn't authorized either. Alien's explanation is that you currently can give karma points only in a forum you moderate. However, it doesn't appear that I can even do that. I did make the suggestion that we should maybe be allowed to award positive karma in any forum. Hmmm... One Drone, One Prober (laugh and I shoot), and the rest Overlord/Overminds. Wow, I can feel the power (or something) just oozing from this thread. Don't get any on you... . However, if any Overlord can give a point in any forum, then it is likely too many karma points could be awarded by multiple Overlords. I like the idea of having the lord(s) of the domain be in control of karma for their area. Better restraint and control.
