IRC Chat

How do you make a IRC Chat?

 

I have not used IRC for some time now, but a windows client people liked back in the day was mIRC.

There was also BitchX for linux workstations.

I'm curious to know how many actually use it now. With all the alternatives I don't see it a lot anymore.

Most people either use it from a social network or in gaming from what I see.
