Installing google analytics

How to install google analytics on vb3.8.4??


I put the required code into the footer of each template but its been about 72hours and its still says tracking not installed, where should i put the code?

I can't recall how long it took mine to start showing data.

 

Yeah, because my homepage is working fine, my forums says not tracking which is why ive posted it up...

 

I can see the code in the page source,,, but it should start tracking sooner then 3 days. Give it a couple of more days and see what happens.

Wayne Luke said one time - that it is better to up the code in the ad location template of the footer, instead of the actual footer template.

 

omg, i just checked the re-checked the code and i have the one for my homepage...

I get the feeling you've edited almost every template to put the code in?

You should have only edited one template (footer, head_include, or an ad_location_footer template) to install it.

 

I had the same problem with my forum. It did show up as validated, but it only showed 2 or 3 visitors a day. On days that we had 300+ visitors.
So I just went ahead and stopped using it.

 

That's odd. I just put the code on my newest forum, a few days ago, and it works fine. :shrug:
