Do you know how expensive it is buying new dishes and glasses every month? Quite costly, I tell you.

Turns out last night someone tried to break in. They got in to the Annex by breaking the patio doors. Our dog barking scared them away.

Good to hear no one got hurt. That is the main reason I have an alarm system. Not to protect the stuff in the house, it can be replaced but to protect the people.

Back then it was a lot of paper products actually. Today, it would be plastic because its more durable and less damaging to the environment overall.

Looking back, I wonder why I stayed in the relationship for 7 years.

Dogs are great like this. My dog is this mild-mannered overweight (115 lb.) elderly Labrador Retriever. However if someone she doesn't know comes up to the house, she can be quite the deterrent.

We have an alarm system. Dead bolts and everything. If they want to get in, they will.

    That's true...

Our Alarm system is like, superb... We have ADT, a well known alarm system in the states.

This was an interesting read. Good thing you are okay and happen to have Lassie for a dog.

But why the screaming? I don't know any thieves who would be screaming while trying to break into a house. Well, I don't know any thieves at all but that's beside the point.

Is it possible someone was trying to break in to get away from someone else? Hence, the screaming? Was it a womans scream?
