Hello, I just joined and excited to spend some time at your website. I have many diverse interests and experience. My most recent experience was spending 15 days in the gulf coast for hurricane Rita and Katrina. At first w/ teh Red Croos, but they were too slowwwwwwww so I ventured out on my own for another 11 days. I traveled from San Antonio to New Orleans and in-between. I acted as 'Rebel' Red Cross'/animal rescuer/Electrician/Concerned Citizen, etc. I'm in North Carolina for a week but will return home to the midwest for Thanksgiving. I'll add more info later and posts. Bye, Pam
:17: Pam, glad you joined us. Make yourself at home. Just settle back and settle in. This is a friendly bunch. Liz
Welcome, Pam...sounds like you're an ambitious person! I'm from New Jersey. Hope you enjoy this place. I sure do! Carol
Hello, Thank you for the warm welcome from all of you. I am just stopping back for the first time. I am from Michigan too. I noticed today that THE Southern Lady is from Michigan too. I'm going to look around now. Bye, :scatter:
I'm an old Chicago area transplant living in Michigan, too--Montague (hold up right hand, where the pinky starts on the coast, gotta love that visual tool) Bozodog's from Kazoo. Where do you live? Hmmm, the Michiganians are taking over! AnotherLiz
we're usually pushing each other out of the way to be first in line to say welcome... looks like i'm a little behind, but wishing you a big warm (belated) welcome anyway!!! Glad you found us!
Hey! I thought that was "Michigander"? aye? A great big welcome, Pam. (yes, there really is a Kalamazoo)
Quite a few years ago, our newspaper had an article about what MI folks are to be called--I decided Michigander sounded like a goose :lol1: But you know me, if there's a different alternative to anything, I'll use it! by the way, the newspaper had a poll and the two were pretty much dead even AnotherLiz
Some of us are slow, or maybe it's just me... Hi Pam, welcome to the Michigander Forum. LoL! I'm sure you'll enjoy the place. Dave :5eek:
