    i think it's a protein "strand" composed of a bunch of molecules

    but i could be wrong, it's been a looong time

    Protiens are composed up of amino acids. Amino acids are composed of -- never mind. Besides the "big red nut" sounds so much cooler than complex molecular structure that forms the building blocks of life, sorry this is off topic. DD I did like the debate in the folding forum regarding the circular thingy.
