Hey Nick, I actually prefer a Thumbs up like system that's available for IPB, it just displays a thanks counter in the post bit, and shows who thanked the post under the post.

That would be like the Post Thank you hack - but I don't foresee us using that anytime.

Boss, I use that hack/mod ("Thanks Mod") and it serves it's purpose on my sites. But, with a site involving the admins of other sites, I think that Nick and staff are going about it the right way with this new type of mod.

I use the Post Thanks mod on my forum and like it - but as Arny said, this new one seems more suitable for a forum like this.

Nick here's an idea... did you look at the code in the product or plugin and see if there is a size for the original images? If so, did you resize these to the same size? or you could change the size in the plugin.

    Just a thought...

Why don't you take out the < br /> at the beginning? It might close it a bit?

    Code:
     <div id="helpfulanswers_box_4895"> <br/><hr size="1" style="color: rgb(247, 247, 247);"/> <strong>Did you find this post helpful?</strong> <a rel="nofollow" onclick="return helpfulanswers_rate(4895, 1);" href="http://www.adminaddict.com/forum/./helpfulanswers.php?do=rate&postid=4895&rank=1"><img width="11" height="20" border="0" alt="Yes" src="http://www.adminaddict.com/forum/images/buttons/ha_thumbsup.gif" title="Yes"/></a> |
    <a rel="nofollow" onclick="return helpfulanswers_rate(4895, 0);" href="http://www.adminaddict.com/forum/./helpfulanswers.php?do=rate&postid=4895&rank=0"><img width="11" height="20" border="0" alt="No" src="http://www.adminaddict.com/forum/images/buttons/ha_thumbsdn.gif" title="No"/></a> </div>

I did the template edit that was posted on vBorg - and nobody else seems to have any problems.

I never thought of resizing these thumbs to the same size as the originals. That's a good idea.

What do you guys think about using +/- graphics instead? It came with them, so I'll try it.

Okay, awesome. One last thing - I just gave your post a +. My question is, can you see that you have 1 of 1 rating? Or do you see nothing?

I actually really like this a lot. More so then the thanks mod I think. Nice call.

Perfecto! I've had enough annoyances from this thing, so I'm gonna leave it alone for now. :p

Reputation is not a factor in the contest. Personally, I think it could be easily abused; but I'll discuss it over with the team. :)
