Hey everyone! I've been lurking for the past few days and this seems like an interesting place. I haven't done much with forums in the past five years or so... hopefully I'll get right back into things. Sooo... an introduction, eh? I'm from Long Island, but I've also lived in Rockford, Illinois and Vancouver, British Columbia (both of which I like better than LI). I'm currently finishing up a liberal arts (life science, math/physics, and computer science) degree at a university here on the Island after four and a half very long years. :tongue: I think I'm going to be one of those people who gets stuck in academia for the rest of his/her days... having summers off is really appealing. I like a few different types of music. When I listen to the radio, it's mostly classic rock, but I also like some Canadian stuff (The Paperboys, what used to be KILT, Damhnait Doyle, Melanie Doane, etc.), salsa, and some junk rock (like MB20 and Stroke 9). I saw my first Ozomatli show last night and will definitely be going back for more shortly. I'm also going through a Sting phase right now which seems a lil incongruous, but hey, it's Sting! (Mmm... Sting.) I would mention that I also love cheese metal, but I think that belongs more in the Guilty Pleasures forum than here. Hmm... now that I think about it, it really doesn't belong anywhere. :tongue: Anyway, it's time for me to sign off for the night. Will yammer with you guys soon... have a good one. Cheers! -spinne-
