Hello from California. For the last few years I have been involved in a number of causes including environmentalism, anti-discrimination and getting involved in politics. However environmentalism is one that that is true and dear to my heart. Every time I see the beaches, mountains or deserts covered with trash, I tend to get angry. Anyway, I have a small Wordpress Blog where I give out information to locals about how to live more sustainable lives, save money and be healthier. I was thinking of adding a BBPress forum to it. I had heard about this place so decided to check it out to see what it was about. Anyone here use BBPress?
Welcome to the community, Ecoways. I have indeed heard of bbPress. It's a simple, light, and easy to manage forum script that is developed by the people at WordPress. It's definitely a viable option when it comes to creating a community that can be managed easily.
Hey Ecoways, welcome to AdminAddict. I, too have heard of bbPress (it's what they use on the WordPress.org support forum). It's a nice, lite forum alternative. A bit related, a bit not, but I've actually been looking into BuddyPress - BuddyPress.org Combined with WordPress MU (and perhaps bbPress, too) it would be a neat community/social-network solution. I love WordPress, so I'm sure I will love their other products. Anyways, enjoy your stay.
