Been a mod on JREF(Japan Reference) for many years. I mostly deal with spammers and trolls there. Hoping to learn a few things here to make me a better mod.

@ Uncle Frank JREF ようこそ Welcome. I had a quick look and I like the style of your website. Good to see you here.

We have a Japanese speaking section on our anti-fraud website if any of your members ever need assistance with scammers or fraud they are most welcome to contact us.

If the flag on the left side of the front page is clicked, it will take you to the section for that particular country where we have native speakers who can assist.

Long-time lurker and admin at Japan Reference (JREF), high time for my own intro (thanks @Uncle Frank JREF).

We started our forum in 2000/01 on a flat-file software called Discus and moved to vB (back then 2.2.3) in March 2002. Since we upgraded to 4.2.0, I've been desperately trying to convert our forum to Xenforo (acquired my first license in Oct. 2010), but due to our DB encoding (X-SJIS) and other discrepancies we've so far been unable to convert to UTF-8. I haven't given up hope yet and will try again once I have more time.

We converted our bicycle forum from vB 3.8.7 to XF without difficulty: http://www.tokyocycle.com/bbs/

@Big al, thanks for the link!

Hi thomas1. Welcome (if you were not welcomed earlier) if so then welcome again.

I live not too far away from the Gold coast Australia and the Gold Coast is a sister city to your location. (Since 1990).

If you get the chance please have a look at the link I provided and we would be happy to assist any of your members if they need a hand with any scammers or fraudsters.

They can contact in Japanese or English whichever they prefer. Good to see you posting.
