Looking good, Plazz. Any way we can get some text reflection like your original attempt had?

Hard to do a decent text reflection with the tagline where it is.

Yeah that was tough. Not much choice with the style of text chose.

Another little effort. Hard to do reflective when the sub heading is oin the way so I moved it.

I was sort of afraid of ruining the fluidity of the image by moving the sub-text there.

I got the first final variation up: Lineolated Parakeet Forum - Linnie Forum Community

What do you think? I dodged the reflecting sub-text as it was too prominent. I also cleaned up some extra parts of the bird image that was sticking out. I'm gonna try Shelley's alternative in a sec, but I wanted to know what your thoughts were with it like this.

The sub heading doesn't need to be reflective. This is overkill imo. I would think keeping the sub heading as clear cut text and the main heading reflective pending you move the sub heading above it.

Ok, I'll admit defeat (as I was royally defeated :p) as long as ONE change is made to Shelley's. The Gradient overlay should do a 180 since it's been flipped. So it should be light - dark - dark - light

Shelley, your latest one is up. I LOVE it.

If you are going to make the change that Plazz suggested, please do so on the attached .PSD as I've made a few minor changes myself. I don't want to have to re-do them.

    Thanks! :)

Another change. I reverted the sub heading text back to where plazz placed it but made an etra mask in an extra set.

edit: Bare in mind i haven't used the psd above this post so be warned as we posted at the same time

I like it Shelley. All of my patience has run out as I've had to make my changes for each variation you guys have posted. If I'm up to it tomorrow, I will use your latest .psd and make my changes.

Thanks again for all of your help. :)

Oh, one last question: Shelley, what color button do you think I should use for the link to the blog? The current one is hideous.

I like that one the best. With the subtext back on bottom on top of the reflection.
