Does it take long for Google to generate more relevant and better sitelinks if you have blocked quite a few of them? Thanks
sometimes, what do you mean by "long" should have something new within a month, just build links & traffic to the pages you want shown.
Just a timeframe like you mentioned Our first set of sitelinks came up and to be honest only two of them were worth keeping as the others were to members profiles so I blocked those ones in hope something new would replace them.
I'm having a different issue: We've had sitelinks for a couple of weeks now, but they aren't even appearing in my Webmaster Tools console, so I can't even get rid of some of them. How long do I have to wait to be able to do that?
It's hard to say, as long as you have a sitemap and your site is verified in webmaster tools, all you can do is wait. I know it's not the answer you wanted, but it's a game of patience now
not until they show up in webmaster tools are you wanting to remove the the one that points to your profile? that happen to me on vbsetup, I had one to "brandon"
It seems to be common with fairly newly added sitelinks, it is as if they are the profiles that get the most hits.
