Google Analytics funnels?

Do you have any Google Analytics funnels set up for member registration? What other funnels do you have... donation page, maybe?

 

Yeah, I have one set up here but apparently it's not working right. I still haven't received help on the vBSEO support forum, but it's not a big deal so I haven't pushed it at all.

Has anyone made a video tutorial on adding a member registration page funnel on vB? I found the process confusing.

Has anyone done this with the COPPA and birthday forms enabled?

 

Something is not working... though I've had several sign-ups, there's nothing listed under Goal Conversions.

 

Yeah same with me. If you look at my screenshot, it will appear as though most of the registrants gave up and left on the last step, but we have obviously had new registrations.

 

Do you require e-mail validation? I don't...

 

Hm, that's weird. I followed the instructions for creating a funnel if you don't require validation, and mine doesn't work - but yours does. Apparently I didn't do it it right.

 

This forum thread seemed to imply you needed the Google Analytics code inserted via vbSEO, could that be it?

 

It is inserted by vBSEO. I don't think it would be tracking anything at all if the code wasn't in the page.

 

I went and set this up. Does it go back and look at previous data or is it only for data moving forward?

I then went and registered a user and checked the results about 10 min later. Saw no change. Any idea of how long it takes until data is collected and displayed?

 

I know it's not instant, but I'm not sure exactly how long it takes.

 

Hey Nick, what app did you use to take the long screenshot you posted on vbseo.com? I need to do the same thing.

 

I'm using FireShot for Firefox. It's really nice and even allows you to edit the shots when you take them, to add arrows, text boxes, etc.: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5648

 

Limited to only caps when using FF?

I've been using CaptureWhiz, it's not free, as I need to get caps from all kinds of apps and browsers.
