Latin for argument to the cudgel or appeal to the stick; where the threat of force is the best justification they can offer for the conclusion they want. Not a very effective argument when all you have to do is hit the delete key.
the fact that he's your boyfriends younger bro made me laugh the most. does he know that the two of you are going out or no cause thats kind of funny lol. shuld tell your boyfriend to delete all his forum accounts and lock it and record it and post it on youtube.
Little brothers are always like this. Hopefully he'll mature someday; probably after someone kicks his butt a few times.
Wow, This Is Funny.... I Get People Asking For Admin All The Time. Even A New Registrant. Saying He Likes My Site. THen Asks For Admin. But This Is Hilarious When People Demand A Position Get Denied, Then Leave. Hopefully They Have Luck On ' Free Forums ' Or Simply Create Their Own. LOL
All I can say is; if a person actually asks to be a moderator, that's a great sign they don't have the maturity or intelligence to actually be one.
When someone asks to be an Admin, what powers are they hoping for? What powers over a usual mod do they hope to achieve?
They probably want the power to ban other members. Not a good idea to give it to them if they have an agenda.
Er, could you perhaps be assuming they are actually thinking? :p What a funny story! You were far more patient continuing to reply than I would be ... but I'm sure it was very entertaining. Last week I had a member object to being given an infraction not because they didn't do it, they did and they knew it, but because they are a "good member." I (barely) refrained from replying that good members follow the rules. :unhunh:
Somehow I doubt that this member wanting to be a staff member was the real purpose of that conversation.
Oh some people can be so rude and nasty i know one person, who has no interest in joining and contributing to my forum, but still keeps asking me to be a mod. Pain in the bum really.
