Forum Mascot(s)

As silly as this may sound, I've seen this done before - a community choosing a specific animal or character and designating it as the official mascot. Have you ever considered doing this, or do you currently have an "official" mascot?

 

I have thought about doing that but I never have done it. Just haven't come up with any good mascot.

 

It's an interesting idea - what if it (meaning, creating or designating a forum mascot) were to bring mass amounts of activity to your community due to the creativity?

 

Nothing official... except there is always this dancing bear hanging around the top of the forum!

That face (as usual) gives me the creeps.

Justin, I love that bear - it's a graphical character that will not only be remembered by the members of your community, but it's something that can automatically be related to the topic of your board.

Not on Themes by Design. But on RHM, we have a mascot. I call him 'Rushing Ralph' -

No official mascot, but if things keep going the way they're going maybe someday I'll say the mascot is a raccoon.

I thought about getting a 21 year old blond to be my forums mascot. Kinda like the godaddy girl. But mine would be better looking.

 

Still working on mine. Not sure what she will look like or if she will be a drawing or a 3d render.

 

I don't have one, but I think we should create one for AA. We could have a mascot contest and allow members to submit their creations. :lol:

Our current mascot is "ForumAddict" and he's boring. He never comes out. :rofl:
