No, you are, for designing such a monstrously-beautiful piece of work. But I digress. This AMP is wearing off, and I think I've done enough work for tonight. Now back to your regularly-scheduled thread.

So, I wanted to try something new and I thought it would suit the apple logo the best to yeah... A wallpaper I made: http://i283.photobucket.com/albums/kk303/BioAlchemistBabe/Anime pics Pisoga Update/AppleInc.png
That looks so alien to me I really need to upgrade from cs2 when i get the time. I think I may even try cs4 on the laptop sometime this weekend see what it brings to the table. I like the monkey, I would have had the placement of the ears on the side or lowered a little and added some additonal touches to give it a little more character. Otherwise, and as always nice work FMB. As for the red themed style. I would had tints of yellow to break out the dominating red. Otherwise, the quality of the design is good but better colour usage will make it better than good if that makes sense.
I do like your monkey, but it looks like it's not finished. Unless I missed something...it has no mouth! I also like your read theme, but as Shelley said, it needs something to break it up a little. Yellow (or something like athletic gold (a little more orangey)) would be a good choice.
Seems a lot different than even CS3[appearance wise], I think they added a bit more stuff on CS3 and just added 2-3 more features to CS4+An overhaul on the look. Yes!I was thinking it was getting 'too much' red, I even told some people. Maybe I'll try the yellow on the thead of the forums or the links. Thank you! I am glad you like it! ^_^
Out of curiosity, and without putting down FMB's excellent work, what makes the Apple wallpaper so great? Design-wise, yes it looks VERY good, but complexity? I would do it as a shape layer over a layer with a radial gradient and a layer with the Apple, Inc lettering. Again, I am NOT trying to impugn FMB's work. :o Some of the greatest designs out there are very simple-looking.
I have a version with a mouth, I redid it with some of the suggestions given about it. Only reason I didn't add it is because I don't think I am that good vectoring ^^;;; It's actually a lot more than that, the Apple inc layer was rasterized twice, but I understand where you come from, though I must say that three months ago, I wasn't able to make this simple thing. ^^;; I didn't know what I know now.
I like this one! I'm still the teeniest bit uncomfortable with her rosy cheeks kinda hanging there in space, but overall good work! I need to upgrade to CS4. I'm stuck with CS3 for now. But yeah, I would have used a vector layer for the Apple logo, and a transparent layer for the script.
It wouldn't have gotten the style and texture I wanted, the apple logo is twice in there with different styles. One of the apple logo layer has a 1px white stroke in overlay and I lowered the opacity a bit and the second one is on top of it with an inner shadow effect with 0 distance, 17 choke and 24px in size @ 75% opacity. My background is composed of 5 layers, the background[last one] is a dark gray to black gradient with a reddish gray overlay, on top of the reddish gray I have two layers with radial gradients[white only] and on top of all those four layers I have a noise layer which is overlaid and I lowered the opacity. The apple inc was two layers similar to the apple logo layer, but modified to look embedded as the apple logo looks, I rasterized them and merged them to reduce the opacity[Actually I converted to smart object]. Not very simple since I never played around like that, I was trying the noise look, actually.
Wow. More complex than I thought! I guess I need to recalibrate my monitor again. :o I really wasn't trying to put down your work.
